JIPMER MBBS Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must be at least 17 years of age. There is no maximum age limit.

Candidate must be an Indian citizen. However, Overseas citizens of India (OCI) are also eligible to appear in JIPMER MBBS.

A candidate appearing in JIMER MBBS must have appeared or passed 10+2 or equivalent examination.

A candidate must have appeared or passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (including practical tests) with English as an elective subject.

Further, a candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in PCB, whereas it is 40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. In respect to Physically Handicapped candidates belonging to General category, the minimum marks to obtain in PCB is 45%.
